Information for future reference:  Nominating Committee appointed in October to recommend individuals for the Board of Directors and Board of Officers.  These recommendations will be presented at the public meeting in December and voting will take place at this time.  New positions begin in January.  All members in good standing and have been a member for 6 months who desire to be a Board Member or Officer are encouraged to nominate themselves at the December meeting or notify the Nominating Committee before the December elections.


New Members

If you would like to become a member of the K-Club, please ask the bartender for a Membership Application and a fee of $5.00 is required.  Next, you will have to attend a meeting held the second Monday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. to be interviewed by the Board of Directors and Officers.  After this time, if the Board approves your membership you are required to attend the 8:00 p.m. public meeting to be sworn in as a new member and pay $30.00 dues to the Treasurer (membership fee varies depending on the month you become a member).  After the public meeting you will be issued a membership card which MUST be used at the front door in order for you to gain access to the K-Club.  You also will be presented with a copy of the K-Club's Constitution and By-Laws which all members are required to abide by.  Keep in mind that you must be a member for a minimum of 6 months to be entitled to K-Club privileges.   Please refer to the Constitution for more information.  Meetings are suspended for the months of July and August.

You have 3 months after you submit your Membership Application to attend a meeting.  If you do not attend a meeting within this time your application will become null and void you will have to once again prepare another Membership Application and pay a $5.00 fee. 

All members are asked to donate 4 hours of their time each year.

The upstairs and downstairs halls and kitchen are available for rent by members for all occasions including birthday, anniversary, baby showers, stags and bridal showers.  Bereavement rentals are free to members.  The hall rental is $150.00 and the kitchen is an additional $50.00.  Members are required to clean the kitchen after use.  All alcohol and beer must be purchased from the K-Club.  Please ask Tracey Jenkins (Permittee) for a Hall Rental Agreement which must accompany a $50.00 non-refundable cleaning fee.  Tracey can be reached at (860) 346-9521 with any questions.  You may also contact any Officer or Board of Director with questions.
